Overview
We’re providing all customers with the ability to customize the confidentiality disclaimer on the survey landing page to help provide transparency to their end users. We’re removing the standard non-editable confidentiality disclaimer from the Workday Peakon Employee Voice experience, including links to the Workday Peakon Employee Voice specific privacy policy. This impacts the current disclaimer text on the survey landing page, survey emails, and the personal dashboard.
Instead of the standard landing page messaging, we’re enabling an editable confidentiality disclaimer text box for all customers. This change is being made to allow our customers to provide transparency to their employees on the survey landing page and in emails.
We’re also changing the footer link on the personal dashboards to the Workday main privacy statement to provide transparency around Workday’s processing of high-level platform usage data.
Availability
This change will be live Friday, July 28 for all Workday Peakon Employee Voice customers.
You can request the confidentiality disclaimer text box to be enabled before this date by contacting your Peakon customer success manager (CSM), or raising a case to Workday Customer Care.
If you have the Data Export API enabled, then the confidentiality disclaimer text box is already available.
Next steps
Prepare any communications towards employees for the confidentiality disclaimer text box and enable it before if you prefer.
When Workday enables the confidentiality disclaimer text box for your account, you can configure your disclaimer on the Email tab of every survey schedule.
It’s also possible to translate the confidentiality disclaimer.
For more details on how to configure the disclaimer, refer to Customize survey disclaimer on our Help Center. Also read Peakon data privacy for additional information.
