Prerequisites
Permission: Manage schedules.
Context
The first reminder notification is halfway through the round, and subsequent reminders are every 4 days until the end of the round.
Example: If you have a 2 week long survey starting on a Monday, the first reminder is the next Monday, and the second reminder is on the Friday. Since the survey closes on the Sunday night, there are no more reminders.
Setting or changing the reminder cadence is only possible after the survey round has already started.
If you've configured your survey in a way that reminders fall on a weekend day, the reminder goes out on the following Monday. You can manually set a reminder to go out on a weekend day, if needed.
To send an instant reminder, click Send reminder (at most every 3 days). This won't override the original reminder email cadence.
Steps
- Go to Administration > Schedules.
- Click View on the survey that you need to configure.
- In the Reminders section on the main page, click Change date.
- Set a new reminder date or disable reminders for the rest of the survey round (only visible if further reminders are scheduled).
- Click Save.
Result
The next survey reminder will go out on the date that you selected, and every 4 working days after that.
Any changes to reminder settings only apply to the current survey round.
Although notifications are sent out as a group, when it comes to a large amount of notifications, they may be staggered over a short period of time. Additionally, employees in different time zones will receive their notifications at different times during the day.
