A consultant needs to enable the SMS add-on to your account if the SMS tab isn't available in your survey schedule.
You can use SMS notifications to complement other survey notification channels (Example: Kiosk mode), or use SMS as the only way of notifying your employees.
Only employees with a valid mobile phone number can receive the survey using SMS. Updating an employee's mobile phone number during a live survey round triggers an SMS notification to their new number, if they've not already participated in the current survey round.
SMS notifications adhere to same send-out time as other survey channels. See Survey send-out time for more information.
- Go to Administration > Schedules.
- Click View on the survey that you need to configure.
- Select the SMS tab.
- Enable SMS notifications.
This action is effective immediately and SMS notifications will trigger at the next survey send-out or reminder time.
