Permission: Manage schedules.
When you set a survey start date and enable data collection, the survey round will automatically open on the selected start date, at 00:30 in the time zone that you've set in the survey schedule.
Once your specified send-out time comes, employees will receive survey notifications. However, employees can already answer their survey by signing in at any point after the round has opened.
If your survey already has a start date that you'd like to edit, see Change survey start date.
- Go to Administration > Schedules.
- Click View on the survey that you need to configure.
- On the main page of the survey, set the Start date.
- (Optional) Set the Duration. The standard duration is 1 week if you're on weekly frequency, or 2 weeks on all other frequencies. Alternatively, you can set the End date.
- Click Schedule survey.
The survey will start on the selected date. You can still make changes to all aspects of the survey schedule up until the day before its launch date. See Survey configuration options for more information.
