Cause
You can add new or existing employees to an open survey round in the Rounds tab of the employee record. Sometimes this option isn't possible, if the employee doesn't fully meet the survey criteria.
Solution
Cause | Solution |
---|---|
The Engagement toggle on the employee record is inactive. |
Activate the Engagement toggle. |
The employee has a future start date. |
Change the values to the correct date, or leave as is if it's already correct. The employee will be part of the first survey after their start date passes. |
The employee has a past separation date. |
Leavers don't qualify for receiving surveys after their separation date passes. Change the values to the correct date, or leave as is if it's already correct. |
The survey excludes the employee based on the segments that the employee is part of. |
Open the survey targeting and the employee record side by side, and check for any conflicts. Remove the employee from excluded segments, if needed. |
Steps
Required permissions: View employees and Update employees.
- Open the employee record.
- Assess the employee record for the first 3 causes. If none applies, open the schedule target settings in a second window and compare to the employee record.
- Once you've identified the culprit, make the necessary change to the employee record.
- Go to the Rounds tab of the employee and add them to the survey round. If the button isn't present, there's still something blocking the employee from being in the survey round. Return to the causes and assess the employee record.
