Exporting the heatmap
You can export segment data from the heat map in various ways, such as by score, by difference to benchmark, by difference to previous round and by question set.
- Go to Analysis > Heat map.
- Click on the segment selector and select the segments you wish to export.
- Click on Export.
- (Optional) Select whether hierarchies should be included, if prompted.
- Once the export is ready, click on Download.
Exporting a PowerPoint presentation
The PowerPoint presentation contains a summary of your dashboard and its latest results. The PowerPoint presentation varies depending on the results of the dashboard that you export.
- Open your Peakon dashboard.
- Click Export.
- When the export is ready, click Download.
Exporting comments
We recommend exporting comments at company level, because this view contains all comments in the company. You can also export comments on a per-segment basis, by switching your context to the specific segment prior to the following steps.
- Go to All comments within the Insight tab.
- Click the Export to Excel button on the top right of your screen.
- When the export is ready, click Download.
It's also possible to export comment topics. To do this, navigate to Topics in step 1 instead.
Exporting employee records
Typically your employee records on Peakon will mirror the employee records of your employee management system. However, it can be useful to export employee records from Peakon, especially if you have collected data using editable attributes.
- Go to Administration, then Employees.
- Click Export.
- Click Export all employee data.
- When the export is ready, click Download.
Exporting via the API
You can build a custom app to export all qualitative data using REST API from Peakon. Example: all question scores. Refer to Using the Peakon REST API to build custom apps and the Developer Documentation to get started.
Exporting raw data
It's possible to export raw non-aggregated survey data from the system. This feature only applies to survey answers collected after the feature was enabled, so it's only available for organizations that have already been using this transparently with their employees. Read more at Configuring the Data Export API.
