Metric | Description |
---|---|
Participation per survey round |
The Latest round metric displays the % of employees who answered the survey in the latest round within the dashboard context you're viewing. Click Latest round to display participation per round, and the optional Benchmark and Average participation options. The Latest round participation is independent of any question sets, and therefore displays as the same rate on all question set dashboards within the same dashboard context. The survey end date is the reference point for this statistic. Align survey end dates to consolidate unaggregated participation across multiple schedules. Note The per-round participation can be much less than the aggregated participation. Example: 100% aggregated participation across 2 surveys, but only 50% participation in each survey round. This scenario could happen when entirely different employees (from the same segment) answer the survey in each survey round. |
Aggregated participation |
The Aggregated participation displays the percentage of unique employees who have answered a survey within your selected visibility window. Click Aggregated to display aggregated participation across survey rounds, and the optional Benchmark and Average participation options. The aggregated survey participation rate is independent of any question sets, and therefore displays as the same number on all question set dashboards within the same dashboard context. Organizations can set their global visibility window using the Aggregation period setting to 3, 6, or 12 months. The visibility window counts backwards from the closing date of the latest survey round. Example: If your organization's visibility period is 12 months, the number of unique respondents is from the previous 52 weeks before the closing date of your latest survey. Note The aggregated survey participation date differs to the main question participation, because not all employees who answer a survey may have answered the main question of the dashboard you're viewing. |
Benchmark |
The benchmark for participation displays as an option when you click the Latest round and Aggregated participation metrics. The benchmark is independent of the question set that you're displaying, and therefore displays as the same number on all question set dashboards within the same dashboard context. When viewing company-level dashboard, the benchmark is external. When viewing segment dashboards, the benchmark is the company-level participation rate, unless you configured a segment-specific benchmark. Typically, as a manager logging into Peakon viewing your team dashboard, the participation rate will benchmark against the organization's participation rate. |
Average participation |
The average participation rate displays as an option in the graph that you can open by clicking on the Latest round and Aggregated participation metrics. |
Score accuracy |
The score accuracy indicates the accuracy of the scores in reference to the aggregated participation rate. This statistic is specific to each question set and can therefore display different accuracy on the various question set dashboards. You can have low participation with high score accuracy in larger segments, where a small number of responses can provide an accurate score, similar to electoral polls. |
Main question score participation (Example: 320/400 employees surveyed) |
The main question score participation displays the number of employees who contributed to the main score compared to the number of employees who received the survey, within the validity window. If an employee has answered at least 1 question from the main category questions, they contribute to the main score and therefore the participation metric. Example: On the Engagement dashboard, the main score typically consists of the eNPS question and 3 supporting questions. Note that an employee can answer the survey (and contribute to the aggregated participation) while simultaneously skipping, or not receiving, the main category questions. Example: Your aggregated participation rate is 100%, while the main question score participation displays as 360 out of 400. The number of employees who received the survey is the same between different question set dashboards within the same dashboard context. When you click on the statistic, you can display a list of employees that received the survey. To protect employee confidentiality, the dashboard doesn't reveal which employees actually answered the survey. The Surveyed employees list abides by the visibility window. Example: If your organization's visibility period is 3 months, the number of surveyed employees is from the previous 12 weeks before the closing date of your latest survey. Only users with the Access list of employees who received the survey permission can access this list. |
Participation in the PowerPoint export |
The participation that displays in the export uses the aggregated participation. It's independent of any question sets. |
Heat map
Metric | Description |
---|---|
Aggregated participation next to each segment |
Next to each segment in the heat map, you can view the number of unique employees who have answered at least 1 survey within your selected visibility window. This number is the same as the aggregated participation rate on the main dashboard, displayed as a whole number. This statistic is independent of any question sets. |
Aggregated participation in the column |
Click Show participation to display this metric. The Aggregated column displays the percentage of employees who have answered at least 1 survey within your visibility window. This percentage is the same as the aggregated participation rate on the main dashboard. It's independent of any question sets. |
Latest participation in the column |
Click Show participation to display this metric. The Latest column displays the percentage of employees who have answered the survey in the latest schedule of the company. This percentage is the same as the survey participation per round on the main dashboard. It's independent of any question sets. If a segment you’re viewing wasn’t part of the latest survey in the company, the column displays a dash for the segment. |
