Peakon's aggregation settings control the visibility period of the submitted survey feedback over time for current employees. To learn about aggregation in general, see Score aggregation resources.
This article will cover:
How it works
The options are 1 month, 3 months and 6 months. During each survey round, the system looks at the last time an employee has answered a specific driver and counts back X months (depending on the selected option), and only counts the newest response to each question on that driver from that time period.
Example: time for each driver of engagement setting is set to 3 months
Let's imagine it is now December. The below table contains all the times a specific employee has answered the different Autonomy questions.
J | F | M | A | M | J | J | A | S | O | N | D | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Autonomy core question | ✓ | ✓ | ✓ | |||||||||
Autonomy Flexibility subdriver | ✓ | ✓ | ||||||||||
Autonomy Remote work subdriver | ✓ | ✓ |
The system draws a 3 month backward window from the latest score on this driver. That means it considers November, October and September. The latest score on each question is kept as contributing, as long as it is within that 3 month window. This means that there is only one score contributing to the Autonomy driver from this specific employee.
Configuration
System administrators can manage the aggregation settings in the admin panel. As with all other visibility settings, they are effective immediately and will affect the entire account. This setting will only appear for legacy customers who have not yet turned it off. Once turned off, it will disappear due to it being discontinued.
To set the time for each driver of engagement:
- Go to Administration > Data settings
- Click on the Data tab
- Set the Time for each driver of engagement setting
Once this is set, scores and participation will instantly be reflective of the chosen visibility period.
