When enabled by an administrator, the personal dashboard provides survey participants with insight into their own lowest and highest scoring drivers, and the priorities and actions that their manager is working on.
This article guides leaders on the features of their manager dashboard that also display in employee personal dashboards. To learn more about the manager dashboard instead, go to the Manager dashboard section.
To get a summary of what displays on the employee version of the personal dashboard, refer to Personal dashboard guide for employees).
Set priorities and actions
The Your Team page on the personal dashboard not only displays team and company scores (if enabled), but also the team priorities and actions. Sharing the priorities and actions that you're working on can foster a greater sense of transparency and a stronger feedback culture with your team.
Data visibility on the Your team page is contingent of the team dashboard meeting the visibility requirements that your administrator has set.
A team, in this context, refers to the cluster of employees who share the same direct manager and are therefore part of the same direct reports segment of a manager. For priorities and actions to display in the Your team tab, they must be set on the direct reports dashboard of the manager.
Item | Considerations |
---|---|
Priorities |
If your company uses suggested priorities (as opposed to automatically assigned priorities), you need to accept or reject each priority. Accepting a priority, or manually selecting a priority (if enabled by your organization), will display it on the personal dashboard of your direct employees. If you don't accept You don't need to change your priorities from one survey round to the next, especially if they are long-term goals. |
Actions |
Employees can click each action to display its description, associated driver, deadline, checklist and the date you created the action. We recommend being as descriptive as possible. For an action to appear in the personal dashboard, you need to set its Sharing settings to Shared with all. |
Switch between dashboards
Typically managers are also survey participants themselves. Managers can access their own personal dashboards within the same interface as their manager dashboard.
You can click on the Personal Dashboard link in your navigation bar. The tabs that you can access within your manager dashboard remain accessible while browsing your personal dashboard, enabling you to return at any time.
You can switch between the manager and personal dashboard in the mobile app in its left side menu.
