You can use segment targeting to only include or exclude certain users in selected access control groups. You can edit these restrictions at any point. It's only possible to set group targeting after you've already created the group.
Example: You've enabled comment access in the standard Managers group, however the Finance business unit doesn't want to grant comment access to their managers. You can exclude the Finance segment from the Managers group, and create a custom managers group without comments, which only includes the Finance segment.
- Go to Administration > Access control.
- Open the access control group that you need to target.
- Click Edit.
- Set targeting using the Only including or Excluding settings.
- Click Save changes.
