This example illustrates how to phase the personal dashboard roll-out to your employees.
Scenario
Your organization needs to release the personal dashboard to a small group of testers before releasing it to all employees. To achieve this result, you want to disable the standard Employees access group, and create a second Individual type group.
Steps
- Go to Administration > Access control.
- Open the Employees access group.
- Expand the Personal dashboard settings.
- Ensure that the settings are off. If they aren’t off, deactivate them and save changes.
- Click Add group.
- Name the group. Example: Personal Dashboard Testers.
- Set Access to Individual.
- Set People to Choose manually.
- Expand the Personal dashboard settings.
- Enable all settings.
- Click Add group.
- Open the Group Members tab.
- Click Add people.
- Search for each tester, then click Add.
Result
The testers now have access to their own personal dashboards. If the testers are managers, they can access personal dashboard through their manager dashboard. If they’re employees, they can access the personal dashboard at the end of the next survey, or by logging into Peakon.
Next steps
Follow steps 1-4 and turn on all settings, when you need to enable the personal dashboard for all employees.
